Who can open a shop?
Any active member of a Rotaract club in the district. Your membership is checked against the club records before your shop goes live. Clubs can also open a shop for merchandise and fundraisers.
Does it cost anything?
No. A free shop lets you list up to 15 products or services. Pro shops (KES 500 a month) get up to 200 listings, a Pro badge and priority placement.
How do I get paid?
Directly by the buyer, using your own M-Pesa Till, Paybill, bank or cash on delivery. We never hold money. Add your preferred payment method to your shop so buyers know what to expect.
How do orders reach me?
Buyers send you a ready-made WhatsApp message with the items, total and an order reference. If you have your own website, you can send buyers there instead, or offer both.
What can I not sell?
Anything illegal, unsafe, counterfeit or against the Four-Way Test. Read the guidelines for the full list before you list.
How long does verification take?
Usually one to three working days. You can set up your shop and listings while you wait.
